'The hands can feel the life within' Dr. Viola M. Frymann, DO

OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a manual approach that aims to restore function to different parts of the body. At the end of the 19th century, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still described osteopaths as engineers of the human body who are fully conversant with anatomy and physiology, as well as the interactions between the various mechanisms that produce balance and health. Through fine and precise palpation, a complete and comprehensive assessment allows us to seek the cause(s) of neuromusculoskeletal, visceral, and cranial dysfunctions and pain. The assessment is based on the position, mobility, and vitality of each part of the body. Each osteopathic treatment is specific and adapted to each patient according to their age, health, and needs.
More and more patients are seeking Osteopathic care: infants, children, pregnant women, people who have suffered falls, concussions, sports injuries, work or road accidents, disabled people, the elderly, to prevent and relieve pain and dysfunction.
“ Balancing everything is good.
"Putting everything in harmony is better. "

Who is Sophie Janssens?
Passionate about dance and medicine from a young age, Sophie began her career as a contemporary dancer. During this time, she was introduced to Pilates and osteopathy, becoming a great devotee of these methods. Certified in Pilates in 1996, Sophie worked at Cirque du Soleil in the performance medicine department for 3 years. She taught Pilates for the rehabilitation of high-level artists. With a constant desire to perfect her knowledge, she continued her studies in osteopathy at the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal (CEO) in 2006, from which she graduated in 2018 and became a member of the Association of Osteopaths of Quebec.
She practices osteopathy in a private clinic with a varied clientele, including children, newborns, athletes, the elderly, etc., for preventive monitoring, emergency and long-term maintenance interventions, preparation for childbirth, and pre- and post-operative meetings.
Her passion, her sensitivity and her availability for people who are suffering,
allow her to find solutions to relieve patients.
